The Program House
A Deconstructed Housing Product
With one simple move, we deconstruct the rigid box called the single family home. We propose that each program gets its own vessels so its occupants can maximize experience with limited square footage. This move allows a creative, playful, and adaptable experience modeled for expansion to move along with life’s changes. We address the issue of space and privacy by separating public and private programs to create rooms for escape and gathering. Our hope is that this tiny home is the start of a forever home. In an age when the future is more unpredictable than ever, we give our young professional couple the flexibility to build the house of their dreams on their own time.
